New to GO - League vs Division standings

Hey everyone:

Just joined and have a basic questions concerning Collections & standings. i tried scrolling through all the existing posts to try and find an answer, so wouln’t waste anyone’s time. Below, I have copy/pasted a similar question to mine from the middle of 2021.

I purchased the 1980r season, and my problem is in Collections I have tried everything possible to separate standings at the DIVISION level. it appears the game will allow standings at the league level, but what if you play games between east/west divison teams? Certainly you cannot accumulate standings with two divisions in the same Collection - thats an absurd way to track standings.

Am I missing a work-around, or is this really the way everyone tracks standings in their replays?

Just purchased my first season yesterday (1986). I set up an American League replay in my collections. I played the first game of the season Cleveland at Baltimore. I placed the boxscore and it works great. However for the standings can I create an filter for American League East and American league West Standings? Or is it just the entire league standings?Capture.JPG

Unfortunately, there is no way to split it into divisions under one collection. That would be a nice feature, but not sure how they would get that to work.**

To my knowledge, no. One reason I am replaying 1908 and 1960. I have a new replay going with 1973 and I will need to do divisions on paper.

Hey Vinman, thanks for your feedback, support also wrote back telling me the same thing. The cutoff was 1969, when MLB started divisions.

Another reason I like pre 1969 and 1973 is pre 69 was before divisions and pre 73 was before DH. Plus less games/teams. So I am playing 1908 and 1960. I have started a 73 replay but only a few games. I will do that as a long term project. I forget to use a DH.
