News 2023 Season
-
@Phillyj1m Ha! Well I would probably not post it between 11pm ADT and 4am ADT, if that helps.
If I receive it any other time I would make it a point to release it.
Thanks,

I find it interesting that guys have home Brew files . And others are able to put out pitching grades soon after the season is over that are Verry close to the game company file in a matter of weeks of the season being done . I think the frustration for me is not so much that the file is not here but it was advertised and then nothing and no update given . Just my thoughts my friends
-
@Duluth-Huskies-0 I echo these thoughts 1000 percent. Why advertise it if it is not going to be available. This happens a lot and it’s frustrating. I appreciate the work and effort, I really do. If there are any questions surrounding availability can y’all just advertise a later date
. -
Ya I agree . That’s just common sense and curiosity to the loyal costumers . I am losing interest and feeling more frustrated than interested in getting the file just to see the cards early.
-
I agree, it is frustrating. I remember traveling to Millersville Road in December to pick up the cards in person. Seems like now there are constant delays in release dates for essentially the same product we have been buying for decades.

I re-read John’s newsletter email from last week and he said the GO files “should” be ready by Thanksgiving weekend. Obviously, that time has come and gone. I’m not sure if anyone has his ear, but PR-wise he could use some help.
When the 2022 Pro Football set eventually is released, it should come with some sort of “mea culpa”. APBA doesn’t do sales, but a slight discount on the price and/or some sort of apology to patient/loyal customers would be a nice touch.
Just continuing to release products late with no explanation is really just taking your customers for granted, IMO.
-
I agree. Apba however can get away with it. We will wait until the new season is available, regardless of release date. We will then rush to the computer and purchase it. They will still have the loyal customer coming back each and every year. So even if they do not update release date, or is late they will still get the sales. It would be nice if they would keep the original release date.

Just arrived via email - the APBA Newsletter - APGO “in the next week or so”

@Rdub262 LOL the key words or so that could mean 2-3 more weeks but for sure not for a week . Question when do they start working on the file ? When did they start or have they . Home brew files and grades been floating around for months

Buehler, Buehler, Buehler…

@Duluth-Huskies-0 I am the optimist I guess - or overly complusive, I wanted to read a week or so that it might be earlier!
Jeremy - hearing anything out of Alpharetta?

@Phillyj1m I was all of that last weekend . Not holing my breath . Feel bad for the folks that were looking forward to the 2022 football

@Phillyj1m I’m still waiting to hear it’s coming, but I’ll be watching all weekend… if you follow us on Twitter (or X, or w/e the heck it’s called now), I will post as soon as it’s up. I’ll also post to Facebook, but it doesn’t reliably notify these days.
Thanks,

@Phillyj1m Kevin Cluff just posted: Now is the time to start watching for the 2023 set on APBA Go . . . .
