ROSTER SIZE

Jeremy, my only hold back from a Subscription is the inability to set a 25 man roster. It’s tough to do a replay when every player is available; you have to keed a separate paper roster to know who is active or not. Are there any plans to allow you to set a 25 man roster and bring up or send down players as wanted or needed due to injuries.

Love it. I second that idea for something for GO to look at down the road.

@jimsce I think this will be possible with Custom Teams, arriving later in Q4.
You’ll be able to make a Custom Team for your replay and set the 25 players you want to bring into the game. After the game, you’d make adjustments to the roster and play the next game.
Does that sound good? I hope I am understanding you correctly.
Thanks,

@apba-go-jeremy Jeremy, I think that will work, although, I’m not sure I know what you mean by Custom Teams. Say for, example, I want to replay 1962. I want the ability to set the 25 man roster for each team with the remaining player on the farm team. If that’s what you’re talking about then it will work.

@jimsce Custom teams will allow you to create a ‘new’ team using any players you have access to in the catalog. So if you bought a season, you’d be able to make a team using any of the players from that season. The minimum roster size is 25 players. Max roster size is 30. But you can change up the roster after every game you play, so I think it will work for you. (for example, if someone gets injured, you would be able to remove them from the roster and sub another player).
Anyway, I’ll be sharing more information about Custom Teams as we get closer to launch. Hope that helps!

@apba-go-jeremy Great stuff, Jeremy. Loving the direction GO continues to… go. Thanks.

Jeremy, if I’m reading this right I would have to manually download each player to a team. What I was hoping is taking a stock season, say 1965; players are already on the respective teams. All I would need to do is toggle whose active or not. That would be ideal. Am I making sense?

@jimsce I think I understand what you mean. I’ll add it to the list.
