Master Game
-
Hi there
I usually have played the APBA GO basic but decided to try my hand at the Master Game, playing as both teams. Whenever there’s a box or pop up window to advance or throw for a runner, I can’t see the whole box. For instance, I was playing the '77 Red Sox and Yankees and it asked if I wanted to advance Yastrzemski and Fisk and I checked both boxes but couldn’t see the bottom of the pop up window to confirm my choice. Hope you understand my questions. I have a Samsung S26 which I just got. Would I need to change the fonts, bigger, smaller) if you know? I won’t play Master rules often but would just like this for future reference
Thanks
Tim

@maltesetim-0 As it runs in a browser window, are you perhaps pinch-zoomed in on the screen?
Can you hold and drag the screen around to see the button?
The mobile interface is supposed to adapt to the viewport size, so I’m not sure what’s going on.
Thanks,

@APBA-GO-Jeremy Jeremy, I’ll try a couple things. I haven’t tried dragging and holding but I will.

@APBA-GO-Jeremy should I pinch-zoom the screen? I haven’t done that. Can I perhaps send you a screenshot if I encounter it again? It’s ok because as I said, I usually would play basic. Thought of something else, which cards will thr game use, depending on the season, for instance, if I select both teams using the 1978-R cards, will it use the reprint cards for both as opposed to just using the regular 1978 cards I notice when you view the cards, sometimes it seems the same set will have cards that look different, for instance, Reggie Jackson may only have one number next to his dice rolls 11 to 66 where Thurman Munson might have two readings next to his 11-66 dice rolls. Hope you sort of understand. Lastly, would love if you could ever see the dice actually rolling on the cards.
Thanks

@maltesetim-0 Hi, let’s see if I miss anything :P
If you encounter the issue again, it’s best to send your screenshot to support@apbago.com. If there’s an issue, they’ll put it in the queue to fix.
If you select 1978R for both teams in a game, the 1978R season data would be used by both.
The difference between the Reggie Jackson and Thurman Munson cards you describe sounds to be the difference between a 1 and 2 column card? Where for a two column card, rolling a 11-66 on the dice can yield a 0 result in the first column which means a second dice roll is made and the second column result is used to determine the play number used. Unfortunately, I’m having a senior moment and can’t remember what determines whether a player gets a two column card during card creation… I’ll have to ask the Alpharetta folks.
Have you tried a game using the 3D Dice option? While not a great execution, it does allow you to see the dice rolled during game play.
Enjoy,

@APBA-GO-Jeremy Jeremy, thanks! No, but now I’ll try the 3d option and will send a screenshot if I have the issue with the master game again.
Thank you
