14 players selected Yankee teams that had won the world series in a double elimination tournament. Tigerbob took the 1998 Yankees to a 4th place finish getting knocked out by pwdparis and the 1977 Yankees. The 1977 Yankees were eliminated by Sbapba and the 1996 Yankees in the 2nd chance bracket finals. Sbaapba and BallOne faced off for the 2nd time in the finals. BallOne and the 1939 Yankees beat Sbaapba and the 1996 Yankees in the finals of the winner’s bracket but the 1996 Yankees got their revenge in the championship series.
