My first APBA GO MG in (I’ve been playing APBA GO for a long time), and I have to say I’m very impressed. (I played the Miller Associates MG versions 20+ years back, and also have the board version, so I’m not completely new to it.) I believe there may have been a glitch or two, but it’s more likely me being “rusty” with the MG versus any problem with what you’ve released. I have to say, my joy of APBA just increased multifold - thank you for making this a wonderful platform to play APBA.

when is autoplay going to be restored?

@jcomey Autoplay will require micromanagers compatible with the MG. The Micromanager Challenge also will not be activated until then.

Today we deployed:
- a fix for the ground out runner on third issue
- a speed rating for Basic card average runners was added (previously, if a player was average, nothing would display - only a fast or slow rating would display)
- efforts were made to improve earned run allocation for some plays but more work is required and is ongoing
- MicroManager selection will now work again in Replays

Hadn’t looked at the site here in a few days, and I am just now seeing the news about the Master Game. I’m sure there will be a learning curve even though I have played the “hard copy” Master Game many times, but I do appreciate your efforts, and I’m looking forward to exploring this option. Thanks!

I reported a few bugs (one being the 2nd column issue listed earlier). Should we keep reporting the same ones? Or only if other stuff occurs? Is there a list of known issues somewhere so we can not waste your time with repetitive reports?

Hi Everyone,
I wanted to address a couple of things.
The first is that we’re getting a lot of feedback which is turning out to be people having opinions on how the Master Game plays written in the rule book are incorrect and need to be changed. We don’t re-write the MG rules or plays and never will. That is the domain of the Alpharetta team. We just implement the rules as-is.
We do, however, investigate each report and that takes time away from working on actual bugs with our implementation. So, please, if you have opinions on the MG boards, save them for discussions over beer at the convention.
The second is that we always have a better chance at fixing a problem if it’s reported through the support form on the site, including attaching the game IDs for the games in question so we can look at the play by play, see the dice rolls and all the rules in play in case we need to recreate the game.
Don’t rely on me to report stuff to my team; I spend a lot of time during the day trying to find my glasses let alone remembering all the issues brought up during the day. The paper trail is better every time.
Thanks for your continued help and input. This week has been a whirlwind of activity as we implement fixes for the issues you find. I think John is mentioning the MG addition to GO in a newsletter today, so there will be more people around trying it out.
We will continue improving the experience over time.

Hi,
Today we did the following:
- Corrected plays and stats pertaining to Sacrifices
- Made further improvements to unearned run tracking
- Corrected other reported errors with plays
- Enabled viewing of MG data on cards in Custom Teams (will be adding MG info to fielder cards next week)
- Made some screen optimizations for Desktops with low resolutions

great to hear you guys are working on bugs! There was definitely one chart rating I had today that did not work last time that worked today! I’ll keep reporting them so you can keep fixing them :)
