New Error Preventing Play

Since the update a week ago I have not been able to play games against human opponents. Now, I get the following message immediately after selecting my pitcher.
@BS and I have been trying to complete a tournament for a week but are unable to do so due to this error. I am using the 1937 NY Yankees from the GTOP set.
Please help.

This is an inconsistent error that we’re having problems specifically reproducing (QA, Devs and myself can set up games similarly and not encounter the error), however, we know what it is generally attributed to and we are working on fixing that.
Hopefully by fixing one thing, we’ll solve this issue as well.
ETA currently unknown but it is actively being worked on as a priority.
