Update the store please

Some of the seasons should have an “R” right?
Unless they are the original. Can you update please. I would like to possibly purchase a season.
Examples are: 1986, 1995, 1979

I also believe 1981 was reprinted or re-calculated.

Hi,
The store indicates ‘R’ versions of the season data with an R after the year:
Users who are not subscribers only have access to the R version of the year, unless they purchased the original version of the data prior to the issue of the R version.
Subscribers have access to the original and R versions.
I’m not 100% sure I answered your question - please let me know so I can if I did not.
Thanks,
Jeremy -
Some of the years are listed as original.
Example: 1986
I believe 1986 is now R.
I also believe 1979 is R. There may be more but not sure.
Thanks

I’ll check with Alpharetta and see what is going on.
My team does not control the data in the system, so I can’t say if the listed teams are the originals or the R version, perhaps uploaded when the platform launched and without the R designation.
I’ll send a note.
Thanks,
Jeremy -
The answer I got from Alpharetta was that the season files in the APBA GO store are the latest versions of the data.
So 1986 is in fact 1986 R; when the product launched they took the most recent version of the file and called it 1986.
After launch, when a file is already availble on GO and then updated, it gets the R designation.
I’d say it is safe to assume the file is always the most recent version, except for BATs and HOF files, which are updated yearly (BATs for sure, I’d have to confirm for HOF).
Thanks,
JeremyP.S. as for selling the older versions, I think the goal was to reduce confusion amongst buyers as not everyone is aware of the inner workings of data reissues by offering the latest file only.
