Release 2.4.0

@bstark said in Release 2.4.0:
One more thing, if you save a lineup over an existing lineup, instead of saving over it, you get two lineups with the same name:
What game mode is this? What steps would we take to reproduce this? (I can’t reproduce it when I tried for MM or Solitaire games… I need to understand what was happening to trigger it).

@bstark said in Release 2.4.0:
Home/Road teams appear under wrong tab in boxscores:
EDIT: Identified as Solitaire Game mode, end of game boxscore (in-game box score is correct).
Thanks,

Play vs. AI
My last 3 games saw totals of 56 runs scored on 75 hits. Yes, that’s just 3 games.
Should I accept this as normal variance, or is something out of whack?
-
2.4.4 deployed
- walk off wins should behave as expected
- correct fielding breakpoints should be observed
- optional pitching rule grade changes should reflect on the playing field
- baseball tab should point to the main page
- bunting with injuries disabled should behave better
Let us know how things are.
Routing issues, 500 error, pinch hitting, flipped home/away boxscore tabs, etc. still in progress, hopefully for tomorrow.
-
@striker2550 As you’re the only one raising this issue, I would suggest it is normal variance. Dice are hot, I guess.
-
@APBA-GO-Jeremy Solitaire Mode No outs runner on 3rd injuries disabled and dice roll is 62 which is 41 and it states injuries disabled roll again, next line 1 runner scores next line 1 runner scores. So 2 runs score and runner on 3rd is gone and batter is still up.
Also have had an 8 against a B pitcher with a runner on 1st be a single twice.

@APBA-GO-Jeremy
great update
Jeremy when playing on auto play does not seem to be a way to load pre saved lineups?
the tab is there but when i hit use lineup and pick one of my lineups nothing loads like usual in solataire?It does seem to let me manually move the players and re save new lineups

@APBA-GO-Jeremy - A walk off win scored too many runs. See pic. It scored 2 runs for PUIG.
-
@APBA-GO-Jeremy - Still showing wrong pitcher grade on field icon. I subbed in a grade B pitcher. The field icon shows grade D. See pic.

Just had the same error as has been described by others above. ‘C’ Pitcher (Billiard) enters the game, but appears on the mound as a ‘D’.
Will send note to GO Support…

If they just ‘appeared’ as D, it wouldn’t be so bad… but they are a D pitcher.
-
@bstark - yes! I’ve had some high scoring games and I’m sure it is because of this!
I wish they would communicate better. It’s been days with very little contact. Although not too expensive, it ain’t free either. Rant over… I’ll see myself out… -
Guys, just an FYI…
I sent a note re: the above Pitcher’s Grade issue to GO Support.
Already got a response back saying, “Thanks. Fix tomorrow.”
So it sounds like this can/will be resolved quickly.
RPS -
2.4.5 Deployed today
- Pitcher grade issue where starters without a relief grade were treated as non-pitchers (assigned D grade) is fixed. However, in testing, we discovered that an A pitcher is getting a bump where it shouldn’t. We’ll deploy early tomorrow to fix that one.
- Users playing as home will no longer get a 404 error if they launch a head-to-head game and click launch game before the away player.
- Injury re-rolls should not log extra runs
- Home and away teams appear on the correct end-game boxscore
- Games that end in the bottom of the ninth in a non-walk off scenario should score correctly (no extra runs)
We’re still working on the 500 error on game launch using certain custom teams. We’re having a hard time with this one because we can’t reproduce the error. We’ve done data analysis at the db level; we covered load balancer/routing issues; we’re still working on it.
Pedro’s pinch hitter pitcher problem is almost resolved. We’ll also try to push it out tomorrow morning.
Thanks for your continued help, support, and detailed bug reports.

@APBA-GO-Jeremy when a starting pitcher comes in relief, he is still a D. Card and game might say he is something else, but results indicate he is a D.
-
@demello23-0 ps A starting pitcher came in and gave up a hit on a 9 with the bases empty, and a hit on an 8 with the bases empty.
