Box score earned runs errors

Completed a game and looked at the box score. One of the runs scored when a runner stole third and then scored on a throwing error by the catcher. The error was correctly scored, but the pitcher was charged with an earned run. Obviously, a run scored on an error cannot be an earned run. In the same game, the catcher was charged with an error at the plate on another run. Yet that run, too, was charged as an earned run against the pitcher.

The box scores lose considerable value, I think, when they are inaccurate in such a basic way. I would hope that this can be fixed going forward.
