Line up change problems

Played 2 games recently and was unable to make line up changes because the system either would not accept my changes, i.e. a relief pitcher for a starter. Other attempts moved a pitcher to 2b, a catcher to pitch, and a 3rd baseman to catcher.
I changed browsers from Edge (windows 10) to chrome and that did not help. Tried refresh and that did not help. HELP ! -

Hi,
Substitutions can only be made for the active team.
If there is a bat icon in the action bar, then you can only make changes to the batting team.
If there is a ball icon in the action bar, then you can only make changes to the fielding team.
If you already knew this, and the substitution window is still giving you problems, please let me know.
