Tournaments I joined disappear

Hello,

I have joined a couple of tournaments this week, but I never hear from anyone. I check all day and they show x of y teams joined when I go to bed at night but in the morning the tournaments are no longer there. I never heard from anyone that it was time to play, and I am most certainly not going to sit and stare at the screen all day. What am I doing wrong?

I joined a tournament last summer and no games have yet to be played. My page has 3 games scheduled in My Tournaments but can never join the game. It’s no big deal, but I do not like my things looking “cluttered”.

I love APBA Go, but the tournament function is not worth it. If you want to make a tournament, it is best to just do it yourself.

Thanks to everyone who responded. I think I figured it out. I wish APBA could do a better job in setting up tournaments so you don’t have to hope your opponent is online, and also to notify players who joined a tournament that it’s time to roll.

What you need to do is go to tournament games on the main page and you see a list of your opponents and the tournament it is for. Like I said, the drawback is that you have no way of knowing if the other manager is online to play.
