Cards are different?

Hi all
I have many original card sets and am wondering why the apba go sets are different than the original card sets? I understand the ® sets are remake sets so that makes sense they would be different but why are the other non ® sets different than original card stock sets? example say 1982 set (1981 season) very different. Biggest difference seems to be the almost complete lack of single column cards everything is two column as compared to originals with lots of one column and a lot more A starters in apba go

no one knows? I think i may have found an answer in that when they re made the new boards maybe they issued new card sets to work with new boards?

The APBA GO cards are the current card set being offered for each season. APBA completely redid the 1981 season carding every player. This is the season on APBA GO. Not the original 1981 card set.

do you know why they re carded all the seasons from original? was it because the boards changed?
