Game won’t end

Another weird one for me today.
‘27 Pirates at ‘22 Giants. Solitaire game with manual dice rolls.
Pittsburgh takes an 8-1 lead to bottom of ninth.
Two out.
But any roll which should now result in the game ending, just sees an endless ‘spinning circle’ replace the icons on the lower right.
For fun, I tried hitting the back space and tried again. I was able to walk a Giant… then single him to third.
But the game will not recognize a manual roll which will result in the final out.
