Custom team question

If i create a custom team and move players from said season team onto my new custom team will the players actually leave the original team? In other words if i have Sale on my custom 2018 team and i play the redsox will Sale be on both teams the original 2018 sox and my custom 2018 team or are they removed from original team.

@tsbl The players are not removed from teams. New Custom Teams are unique entities, so you can put the same player on all Custom Teams you create. Likewise, they will still be available on the historic team they played for.
