1934-1935 NHL Replay

Ok, a couple things with the replay…
I had forgotten this was before you could pass over blue lines so the strategy of dump and chase wasn’t legal yet. I had known this in the back of my mind but a reader tipped me off about it. That tip really helped keep the replay authentic.
There are no icing rules yet. So line changes on the fly will be done in accordance to the basic rules BUT if a reading of icing occurs I will allow the team receiving the puck to give it the player of their choosing.
Players can be on the ice for a maximum of 4 minutes before the team must “change on the fly”. After 2 minutes a stoppage in play will force them off the ice. Players must be on the bench for a minute after a shift to be eligible to go back on the ice (this occurs naturally). The final four minutes of the game I kind of skate just the best players who haven’t exceeded their game time on ice allowance. I will make a youtube video to show how I do this.
The Stanley Cup was a best of five series! We will be going over the teams and the league format as we go along!
I want to thank anyone who is reading along! I want everyone to feel welcome and free to post their ideas, etc. I always enjoy hearing other people’s interpretations!

About to start the second period in St. Louis.
Chicago Blackhawks vs. St. Louis Eagles
-
AT
The first game of the 1934-1935 NHL Season opened in St. Louis for a contest between the Chicago Blackhawks and the St. Louis Eagles. St. Louis being the new home of the former Ottawa Senators who during the awful financial crisis has suffered financial hardships that have necessitated this move.
The game started with an early goal just fifty seconds into play. Gottselig would score his first of two goals on the night. Less than a minute Chicago would strike again and it would become apparent that success for St. Louis wasn’t as easy as packing a moving van. Lamb would score the lone goal for the Eagles and when all was said and done they would lose to Chicago 6-1.

BOSTON BRUINS @ TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS
Game is in progress
Yes, it drives me crazy APBA put the away team on the right. I might play with the board upside down. That might drive me crazy too.
